A nationwide community dedicated to making the restaurant industry more hospitable to everyone

Prospera partners with Latina entrepreneurs to launch businesses that foster cooperation, economic resilience, and well-being in immigrant communities. Through our culturally-specific programs, Latinas access the networks, tools and capital they need to become successful business owners and powerful community leaders.
CoFED
Cooperative Food Empowerment Directive (CoFED) partners with young people of color to practice cooperative values and economics through food and land. We work with cooperators along all sectors of the food system - farmers, distributors, land stewards, healers, educators, organizers, credit unions, land trusts, restaurant owners, line-workers, and composters. Our mission is to transform the food system into one that puts people and the planet first.
Hijas Del Campo
Hijas del Campo, which translates to Daughters of the Field, is a Contra Costa County grassroots organization founded by 4 local moms. Our aim is to help migrant and seasonal farm workers improve their quality of life, including health, safety and working conditions. We provide farmworkers and their families with food, home/personal essentials, PPE, rent and bill assistance, Covid-19 education/resources and most recently with assistance for Covid-19 testing and vaccinations appointments.
